FAQs

How do I enroll?

Switching energy suppliers is straightforward. Fill out our online inquiry form to learn about our flexible plans and pricing.

How will I pay my electricity bill?

Nothing will change with your billing process. You will continue to receive one bill from the utility company on a monthly basis. When you choose Phoenix Energy for electricity supply, you will see changes reflected on the supply portion of your electricity bill within 1-2 billing cycles. The utility will continue to charge the standard rate for distribution.

Do I need to contact my local utility to cancel service?

No, we will contact the utility company on your behalf. Switching to Phoenix Energy does not delete your current utility account. The local utility will continue to read your meter, service your connection, and provide emergency services.

Do I need to install any new equipment?

There is no equipment required to become a Phoenix Energy customer. We do not make changes to wiring or hardware. You also won’t experience any interruptions to your electricity service as a result of enrolling with Phoenix Energy.

What if I change my mind?

If you cancel electricity service during the contracted period, an early termination fee may apply. Fixed-term contracts are subject to an early termination fee. Please carefully review the terms of your contract and reach out to our team with any questions.

What happens at the end of my contract?

Before your contract expires, a Phoenix Energy representative will alert you of the upcoming expiration date and explain your renewal options.

Who do I call about power outages?

In the event of a power outage, please contact your local utility company.
